Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti will rest tough-tackling midfielder Gennaro Gattuso and captain Paolo Maldini for his side's Serie A meeting with Torino on Saturday with the Champions League second leg against Manchester United in mind.
Gattuso is struggling with a foot injury while Maldini is doubtful with a knee problem, but both players are expected to be fit in time for the semi-final second leg.
"I will do everything I can to be available for Wednesday's encounter," said veteran defender Maldini. "I believe we have a chance to progress to the final."
Milan have announced the return leg at the San Siro on May 2nd has sold out. A crowd of 67,500 will watch the clash between two of Europe's top sides with the Rossoneri looking to overturn a 3-2 deficit from the match at Old Trafford.
