Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo is confident his AC Milan side are peaking at the right time ahead of their Champions League semi-final return match with Manchester United.
United won the first leg 3-2 at Old Trafford and the two clubs will clash again in the second leg at the San Siro on Wednesday.
Speaking after Saturday's 1-0 win at Torino, World Cup winner Pirlo said: "Now we are looking ahead to Wednesday with confidence. We are doing well."
Pirlo, voted man of the match in the 2006 World Cup final and also the semi-final with Germany, then turned his sights to Wednesday's game and the 27-year-old is convinced the Rossoneri are improving.
He said: "We have reached top condition at just the right moment. We will do well against Manchester United. We expended a lot (of energy) today, but there is time to recover."
Coach Carlo Ancelotti said midfielder Gennaro Gattuso will be fit for the San Siro clash but Paolo Maldini is a doubt.
"The only player in doubt today is Maldini but we still have four days to get him fit," said Ancelotti. "Gattuso will definitely be available, however."
