Arjen Robben is set to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid after the two clubs reached an agreement subject to the player agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
A Chelsea statement last night read: "Chelsea Football Club and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Arjen Robben subject to the player agreeing personal terms and passing a medical."
Real also confirmed the deal for The Netherlands player in a statement on their website, which read: "Real Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Arjen Robben, who will become part of the Madrid club for the next five seasons.
"The agreement is pending the player's medical and the signing of the contracts."
