Jim Roddy has confirmed his intention to step down as chief executive of Derry City later this month due to ' personal reasons'.

Roddy, who has been involved with the club for 14 years, follows chairman Hugh McDaid in leaving the club. Both will stand down officially at Derry's agm on November 26th.

"I just think that the time is right for me personally and for the club as well," Roddy told the Derry City website. "There are a lot of good people working around the club and I believe it has a vibrant future."
