Norwich today appointed Glenn Roeder as their new manager. The former West Ham and Newcastle boss takes over from Peter Grant, who parted company with the Championship strugglers on October 9th following poor results.
Roeder (51) has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Norwich head into Sunday's derby with Ipswich at Carrow Road sitting bottom of the table with just two wins and eight points from 13 games.
They have lost seven and drawn one of their last eight league games, their last victory coming at home to Crystal Palace on September 15th.
Chairman Roger Munby said: "After a lengthy and diligent search I'm more than delighted to confirm Glenn Roeder is the board's unanimous choice as the next Norwich City manager."
Caretaker boss Jim Duffy - who was Grant's assistant - has left Carrow Road.
