St Patrick's Athletic 1 Monaghan Utd 0 (aet):Bobby Ryan earned the Saints a trip to Waterford in the FAI Ford Cup quarter-finals after they saw off a brave Monaghan challenge in tonight's fourth-round replay at Richmond Park.

Monaghan had the best of the chances in regulation, but it was midfielder Ryan that decided the contest after 105 minutes of action after he fired home from Damien Lynch’s cross to keep alive his side’s hopes of a first cup win since 1961.
