St Patrick's Athletic 3 Sligo Rovers 1: St Patrick's strike force of Trevor Molloy and Paul Keegan earned their crust at Richmond Park last night when they shared the home team's goal return in a convincing victory over Sligo Rovers.
Molloy picked up a brace, while Keegan finished an Alan Reilly through-ball emphatically with 15 minutes remaining to seal the victory after Darren Mansaram had levelled Molloy's opener with a superb effort just before the break.
Molloy was up to his tricks again seven minutes after the interval when he rounded Michael McNamara and curled a shot into the corner of the net to give St Patrick's the lead again. Keegan made certain of the points with the third goal.
