U-21 Leinster Quarter-final/Laois 1-9 Louth 0-11:Defending Leinster champions Laois advanced to a semi-final meeting with Westmeath next weekend with a hard-fought win over Louth in Portlaoise yesterday. Michael Tierney's superb point 20 seconds from the end of normal time proved to be the winning score. The sides were level at half-time, 1-3 to 0-6 as the visitors recovered from a 1-2 to 0-1 deficit. Donie Brennan scored Laois's goal after 16 minutes.
