All Ireland MHC Quarter Finals Tipperary 2-14 Dublin 1-11 Tipperary's minor hurlers survived a Dublin comeback at Dr Cullen Park on Saturday to progress to the All-Ireland semi-final, where they will play Kilkenny.

A comfortable victory seemed inevitable by the early stages of the second half, as Tipperary led by 2-12 to 0-3.

However, they grew complacent and Dublin, inspired by free-taker Kevin O'Reilly, scored six points without reply.

Midfielder James Woodlock then stretched Tipperary's advantage but Dublin continued to eat into the lead, thanks to another O'Reilly point - he scored nine of his team's total - and a goal from William Lowry. However, Tipperary hung on to book a meeting with the defending champions.
