Tourlestrane 1-15 Glencar/Manorhamilton 2-7:SLIGO WINNERS Tourlestrane march on after an entertaining and competitive encounter at sun-kissed Páirc Seán MhicDiarmada in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday.

Two frees by James Glancy in the opening seven minutes got the Leitrim champions off to a great start. They went further ahead in the 12th minute when a miskick by the Tourlestrane goalkeeper bounced off a defender and was put to the net by Aaron Hickey.

But Tourlestrane got back in the game with a well-worked goal by Gary Gaughan. A further exchange of points left the sides level at half time 1-5 each.

An Adrian Croal goal six minutes from time left the minimum between the sides but Tourlestrane responded with four further points from play.
