Wales have sprung a major surprise by including Australian centre Jason Jones-Hughes in their 30-man squad for the Rugby World Cup in October.
The 22-year-old New South Wales player, who has been capped by Australia at schoolboy, under-19 and under-21 levels, is expected to qualify through his Welsh father.
Jones-Hughes is brought into a squad that also includes all 22 of the players involved in the memorable first win over South Africa at the new Millennium Stadium in Cardiff last Saturday.
"This was an extremely difficult decision which I made after careful consideration and after lengthy discussions with my family," said Jones-Hughes.
"I believe I am eligible to represent Wales and I have informed the Australian Rugby Union and the New South Wales Rugby Union of my intention to make myself available for selection for the Welsh Rugby World Cup squad.
"The Welsh Rugby Union are currently seeking confirmation of my eligibility through a formal application to the International Rugby Board."

Athletics: Paul Edwards, the 1990 Commonwealth shot bronze medallist, has been suspended with immediate effect pending a drugs disciplinary hearing.
An independent drugs advisory committee appointed by UK Athletics and chaired by Michael Beloff QC - who oversaw the Doug Walker case - decided the evidence suggested a doping offence had taken place.
