You may have spotted a few midweek features on David Ginola which referred to the rather startling fact that his name is an anagram of "O! A lad diving!" and "Diving a load" - the Anagram Genius Server is the website responsible for these spookily apt anagrams (they've also managed to transform "President Boris Yeltsin" in to "Endless insobriety trip" and "Margaret Hilda Thatcher" in to "High-tech Armada rattler"). So, we sent them a few footballing names and this is what they produced: Am Costly Loner (Stan Collymore), Moaner Plus (Paul Merson), I Red 'n' I Wins (Denis Irwin), I Rib Fine Rival Zola (Fabrizio Ravinelli), Ga-ga In Close-up (Paul Gascoigne), Neat Hair (Ian Harte), Adorable If Not Antisocial Fools (Football Association of Ireland), Canine Actor/I Ruin A Soccer Team? Non! (Eric Cantona) and He's Red And Mighty (Teddy Sheringham).

Capital Kitchen Artists (Saint Patrick's Athletic), Rank Notions (Ron Atkinson), He's A Lad In Knickers (Andrei Kanchelskis), Snide Swine (Dennis Wise), Not Soft Nightmare/Hating Of Torments (Nottingham Forest), Oh! Jingles (John Giles), Chic Husbands, Abnormal Ego (Borussia Monchengladbach), Am Nasty - Do! (Tony Adams), Relax Snug Foe! (Alex Ferguson), Golf A Nazi Acorn (Gianfranco Zola) and A Gull, A Civilian (Gianluca Vialli). Brilliant or what?
