Camogie National League:Wexford were impressive yesterday at Ballinasloe in Division One A when defeating Galway 6-8 to 1-5 with Michelle Hearn the hat-trick heroine. The visitors led 5-4 to 0-2 at the interval with goals from Kate Kelly and Una Lacey and three from Hearn, Galway's points coming from Deirdre Burke and Ann Marie Hayes.

In Division One B Wexford had a 3-9 to 0-9 win over Cork.

In Division One A, a strong second-half showing gave Cork a winning margin of 0-14 to 1-8 over Dublin. An Edel Reid goal helped the home side to a 1-4 to 0-4 interval lead but Cork scored eight points without reply in the third quarter to ensure victory.

In Division One B Cork defeated Dublin 4-6 to 1-5.

Tipperary were 2-18 to 1-6 winners over Kilkenny in Division One A while in the corresponding One B tie Tipp won 0-13 to 1-8.
