Had enough Super Kitties to last you a lifetime? Has JJ finally got on your last nerve? The good news is there is a way to block programmes from showing up in your child’s Netflix profile, making it seem as though they never existed.
The bad news is that it will require a web browser, but you can log in on your smartphone or tablet.
Open your web browser and go to Netflix.com. Log into your account, and in the side menu, which is denoted by three lines on the left hand side of the screen, select Account. Scroll down to Profile and parental controls, where you can see what content ratings are applied to each individual profile on your account.
Select the profile to which you want to apply content restrictions. Scroll down to Viewing Restrictions, and select change. You’ll need your password again to gain access to this page, but once you put it in, you’ll be brought to a page that shows content ratings for the profile.

Scroll down the page to see a box that says Title Restrictions for [profile name]. Enter the name of whatever show you want to nuke from the face of the earth into the box, select the match from the list that pops up and save. Wave goodbye to Peppa/Sunny Bunnies/Baby Shark and deny all knowledge of how it happened.
You’re welcome.
