Huawei Watch Fit 2
From €149
It seems like Huawei is going all in on the wearables market, with a range of devices designed to suit all budgets. There’s the Watch GT3 for the average user, the GT Pro for those who don’t mind spending a little more for premium materials, and the GT Runner aimed at the more athletic-minded among us.
So who is the Huawei Watch Fit 2 aimed at? The Watch Fit 2 follows up the very reasonably priced original Watch Fit, offering a different design to the GT3 and a rake of fitness features.
Voice-guided
That includes animations for workouts on the large AMOLED display, always-on blood oxygen sensors, and voice-guided warm-ups for popular sports such as running or cycling. There are more than 97 workout modes too, so there should be something to fit everyone’s interests. Bluetooth calling is also included, if that’s something you want from your watch.
There are a few different options, including the Classic Edition, which has a leather strap. The version we got to look at was the Elegant Edition, which looks more like a higher-end wearable than the Active Edition and its silicon band, but comes with a higher price tag of €250.
Battery life is more than decent at about seven days of heavy use, and longer if you have a lighter touch. On the down side, it has no third-party apps, and although it is still reasonably priced, it’s more expensive than its predecessor, so it no longer fits in the sub-€100 category.
