Fingal offers a range of quality from entry level homes to high end luxury

In September 2014 when former boomtime developer Gerry Gannon - with the support of Nama - made his first tentative steps back into the new homes market with the Millers Glen scheme in Swords, it was the first major development in the Fingal area since the property market crash. Up to 1500 houses continue to be gradually rolled out around the Swords scheme, and this has now been joined by about 25 other schemes in the Fingal region. The area extends substantially to include Howth, Malahide, Portmarnock, Skerries, Donabate, Swords, Clonee and Castleknock and the range of quality on offer runs the gamut from entry level homes to high end luxury. Gannon will launch 250 three- and four-bed homes in its Belcamp scheme on the Malahide Road in autumn, where there will eventually be 900 units. At the upper end of the Malahide market Clairville Lodge and Hazelbrook will launches this year with prices starting from €725,000 and €650,000 respectively
Schemes continue to roll out new phases in Dublin 15 areas of Castleknock, Portrane and Clonee. A substantial launch in autumn will be 120 houses at Castlefield Court, adjoining the 1990s built Castlefield development.
Station Manor in Portmarnock is also likely to attract strong interest not least for its proximity to the train station when it launches 61 houses and 51 apartments in March.
