Man found unconscious with serious injuries in Galway

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was found seriously injured in Galway city in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The man in his 20s was discovered unconscious at St Bridget’s Place, Prospect Place, Galway at approximately 3am.

The man was taken to University Hospital Galway and the scene was preserved for a technical examination.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and in particular to anyone who was in the vicinity of St Bridget’s Place, Prospect Place or to taxi drivers with dash cameras.
