The Irish Times - Letters to the Editor.

Sir, – An Taoiseach Micheál Martin is in the wrong job. He is quoted as saying that the Galway and Dublin Central byelections will take place in May due to “good weather”.

Having personally experienced many miserable months of May, the long-term forecasting skills of Mr Martin should be deployed immediately in Met Éireann.

On his next media appearance, he might also reveal to us when the incessant rain on the east coast might finally stop. – Yours, etc,

DAVID LOUGHLIN

Rathmines,

Dublin 6.
