Sir, – I wish Government Ministers would just go into work in the morning and do their job. I am sick of Ministers giving ad lib doorstep interviews on their way into the office in the morning.
Their “off the top of my head” morning comments are seldom from the same hymn sheet. If the Government has something to say, then hold a press conference.
Although some afternoon Government press conferences have had to be called to clear up confusion sparked off by their morning musings. – Yours, etc,
