Sir, – I was intrigued to find that Gerry Thornley assumes the lack of atmosphere in Aviva stadium should be sorted by the IRFU ("Six Nations hits high notes on pitch but Aviva atmosphere lacks again", Sport, March 22nd). I feel there are probably a number of other relevant factors in play. A three-sided stadium, probably the worst anthem singers in the Six Nations, and overpriced tickets must surely account for the museum-like feel to proceedings. In the meantime, enjoy the overpriced pints! – Yours, etc,
